Ms. Brandon Powell
MHS Parents,
I am extremely excited to support and work with each of YOU as we promote a high level of Student Achievement! It has been an astounding experience to see so many MHS staff members work over the summer to ensure this upcoming year is one of the best years yet for Manor HS! Parents we will need your full support, and look forward to partnering with you as we make sure MHS is a Top Performing School!!!
The Leadership Team is working extremely hard to ensure we continue to thrive as a campus, and promote a high level of Mustang Pride! We are continuously evaluating systematic processes and meticulously aiming to put effective procedures in place to support our staff & students.
As a TEAM, we will continue to foster a positive culture of unity and excellence in order to improve teaching and learning. The new school year presents endless opportunities for growth, innovation, and success. All Manor High School stakeholders will work at achieving high expectations that promote academic success for our students and, as a result, equip them to contribute their skills as global-citizens. This year we will eliminate any and all excuses, as we focus on being data-driven & solution-minded in promoting Student Achievement! I know that with your help and support we will achieve our goals.
In addition, there has been a lot of “behind the scenes” work done by many people in preparation for your first day back. Our custodial team has been working diligently to ensure all classrooms and common areas are clean. Our office staff & counselors have been preparing for registration and the first day of school. Several of our teachers have attended pertinent summer trainings & PD planning sessions to ensure we have an amazing start to our school year! The Leadership Team made huge gains with staffing quality teachers for our students; and we are almost at 100%!!! Although I highlight only a few of the efforts, I value and appreciate ALL of the work being done to ensure Manor High School is ready for a successful school year. Collaboration
As the year progresses, please remain in contact with your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns that you may have regarding their academic progress. In addition, please feel free to contact the campus at (512) 278-4800 with any suggestions, positive feedback, questions, or concerns. Thank you for your time, and look forward to a great year!
Sincerely,
Brandon Powell
