Credit by Exam
Manor ISD offers credit by exams for non-end-of-course (EOC) state tested subjects. Students may take the examinations through the University of Texas or Texas Tech or a locally developed exam approved by the district. For foreign languages, students may take the ACTFL Assessment of Performance toward Proficiency in Languages (AAPPL) examination or a locally developed examination as an alternative method to determine placement and/or credit in World Languages. These credit by exams are available four times a year to K-12th students.
